Meet Your Coach
Hi! I'm Katie Haines.
I totally get it. I know how hard it is to balance eating healthy while still enjoying wine, ice cream and brownies-- without eating the entire pan. As someone who did #allthediets, I spent a lot of time fretting over how much fat was in my salad dressing, but that wasn’t making me healthier (or happier).
When I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I went to nutrition school and finally learned to eat in a way that supports my health. I was trying to get everything just right-- get to bed by 9 p.m., drink ten glasses of water, workout six days a week, meditate every day, journal every morning, and on and on.
It was impossible to do it all. I was eating a lot of canned soup and frozen pizza because I never planned ahead and I couldn't stick with any of the changes I was trying to make. I wanted to quit, but that wasn't an option.
I knew there was a better way.
So, I set out to make healthy feel easy. When I started making weekly meal plans, it was suddenly a lot easier to eat well. When I committed to creating just one new habit at a time, the changes felt effortless (and even fun!)
I’ve learned that health and wellness doesn’t only happen when you’re "all in." You can eat healthy and take care of your body, when you're busy, too.
The Happy Body Collective helps you eat better. But, it goes beyond the food. You’ll work with me to create healthy habits that fit into your busy life without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, you’ll find the motivation and support you need to keep going.
